Innoson Motors to Build CNG Plant in Bayelsa, Creating 1,000 Jobs

Innoson Motors, a leading Nigerian automaker, is set to construct a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) plant in Bayelsa to rival NNPC and Dangote in the emerging CNG space. The project, announced by IVM Chairman Innocent Chukwuma, aims to position Innoson as a key player in Nigeria's green energy revolution.

The plant will boost Bayelsa's industrial capacity, generate 1,000 jobs, and support the adoption of cleaner and more affordable transport options in the region. Governor Douye Diri welcomed the initiative, highlighting its potential to transform and revitalize Bayelsa's economy.
