Bandits Kill One, Abduct Several in Zamfara Attack

In a suspected bandit attack on Fananawa village in Bukuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State on Saturday night, one person was killed, and five others were abducted. The Zamfara State Police Command confirmed the incident, with the police spokesperson, DSP Yazid Abubakar, stating that a rescue operation has been initiated.

Zamfara State continues to be heavily affected by banditry, with Bukuyum LGA being a repeated target despite ongoing security operations.
