Bandits Burn Four Residents Alive in Zamfara Attack

In a tragic incident in Zamfara State, bandits launched a deadly attack on Gwargwaba village in the Nahuc district of Bungudu Local Government Area. The assailants, armed with sophisticated weapons, set several houses on fire, resulting in the deaths of at least four residents who were burnt alive.

The attack was reportedly triggered by the villagers' refusal to pay illegal levies demanded by the bandits. The refusal to comply allegedly provoked a violent retaliation from the bandits.

The assailants not only destroyed homes and food stores but also set livestock ablaze during the attack. The security analyst, Bakatsin, highlighted the brutality of the incident, emphasizing the tragic loss of lives and property suffered by the residents.
