FG Deploys More Troops to Zamfara to Combat Banditry

The Nigerian government has deployed more troops to Zamfara State to intensify the fight against banditry. This decision was announced by the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, during a progress meeting with APC stakeholders in Gusau.

Concerns were also raised about the construction of the Funtua-Gusau-Talata Mafara-Sokoto road, with claims of attempts to take political credit. Residents are urged to scrutinize how funds are spent.
