ACF Criticizes Tinubu Over Worsening Insecurity in Nigeria

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), represented by Prof. Tukur Mohammed-Baba, has expressed serious concerns regarding the escalating insecurity in Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.

The ACF's spokesman stated that insecurity has worsened, leading citizens to increasingly rely on self-help measures as the government fails to provide adequate protection. They noted that approximately 30,000 terrorists operate in ungoverned spaces across rural areas, particularly in states like Sokoto, Katsina, and Zamfara, where bandits impose restrictions that prevent people from farming.

The ACF emphasized the dire situation affecting school children, who face challenges in accessing education due to insecurity. They criticized the government's policies, stating that the living standards of Nigerians have significantly declined, and called for urgent action to address the deteriorating security situation.
