Insecurity in Nigeria Linked to Poor Governance - Summit Highlights Need for Inclusiveness

He emphasized the need to address violent extremism by tackling governance system flaws, inequality, and structural injustices. Dr.

Joseph Ochogwu warned of the mutating nature of violent extremism across borders, exploiting Africa's vulnerabilities. Senator Abubakar Bagudu stressed the importance of inclusiveness and local community support to build resilience against extremism.

The summit aimed to prevent radicalization and reduce conditions that foster extremism.
