Oyo Governor Makinde Restricts Motorcycles to Combat Insecurity

On Friday, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde issued an executive order that restricts motorcycle operations in the state from 10 PM to 5:30 AM. This measure aims to curb insecurity in the region.

Governor Makinde stated that the government will not relent until kidnapped individuals, including teachers and schoolchildren, are safely returned home. He reassured the families of victims that they remain a priority and that efforts are ongoing around the clock to ensure their safe return.

The governor emphasized that the administration is actively working behind the scenes and urged the public not to mistake silence for inaction, as significant work is being done to address the challenges posed by insecurity in Oyo State.
