Oyo Governor Makinde Reaffirms Commitment to Security

During a dinner organized to honor members of Syndic 5, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde stated that his administration will continue to prioritize security and strengthen the state's security architecture to sustain ongoing economic development. The event took place at the Local Government Training School Hall, Secretariat Agodi, Ibadan, on a Saturday, as per a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju.

Governor Makinde expressed gratitude to the team chosen for the state study tour and commended their outstanding performance during the visit earlier in July, which contributed significantly to the group's knowledge of security issues. He highlighted the importance of collaboration and synergy among security agencies to maintain peace and safeguard the lives and properties of the people in Oyo State.

The event included dignitaries such as Major Gen Lukman Omoniyi (retd), the executive chairman of Akinyel Local Government, and other notable figures from various sectors.
