Ogun State Strengthens Security Measures Amid Rising Insecurity

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun announced heightened security measures due to increased banditry and terrorism. The state will document foreign workers, especially those from Niger, Sudan, and Chad, to ensure they are not involved in criminal activities.

Security forces will focus on scavengers as they pose a security threat. The governor emphasized the need for vigilance and warned against criminal activities in the state, particularly in areas like Zanga and Ijebu Ode.

The Nigerian Immigration Service will collaborate with communities to monitor non-indigenous residents.
