Taraba Governor Orders Evacuation of Boarding Students Amid Rising Insecurity

In response to rising insecurity and student abductions by terrorists, the Taraba State Governor has directed the immediate evacuation of boarding students from both public and private secondary schools. The State Ministry of Education issued a letter to school authorities to deboard students as a safety measure.

Additionally, religious leaders in Taraba, including Sheikh Salihu Barau, have condemned the recent abductions in Kebbi and Niger states during Friday prayers. The Imam emphasized the need for sustained prayers and urgent government action to address the security challenges facing the country.
