Yobe, Adamawa, Taraba States Order Closure of Boarding Schools Over Security Concerns

In response to rising insecurity, Yobe, Adamawa, and Taraba states in Nigeria have ordered the closure of boarding schools. Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, issued the directive after a security meeting to protect students from attacks.

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, ordered the closure of both public and private boarding schools to prevent further abductions. Similarly, Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefa, mandated the immediate closure of secondary schools in the state to enhance security measures.
