Efe and Phyna Shine in Lagos Celebrity Boxing Event

The "Chaos in the Ring" celebrity boxing bouts took place on October 1 at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, as part of Nigeria's 66th Independence anniversary celebrations. Ferdinand Ekechukwu Streamer, known as Carter Efe, successfully defended his title by defeating rapper Speed Darlington, while Phyna, whose real name is Josephine Otabor, knocked out Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing in the final round of her match.

The event showcased a mix of entertainment and competitive spirit, with Efe incorporating dance breaks during his fight. Following his victory, Efe expressed a desire to challenge boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

Phyna's match against Nkechi was particularly intense, drawing significant crowd engagement. After her win, Phyna called out actress Etinosa Idemudia, challenging her to a future bout, which Etinosa accepted.

This event marked the first time female celebrity fighters participated in the "Chaos in the Ring" series, generating considerable buzz on social media.
