Adeola Aims to Transform Ogun West in 2027 Senate Race

Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, currently affiliated with the APC, is preparing to contest for the Ogun West Senate seat in the 2027 elections. His campaign is supported by key party stakeholders, including Ogun State Chief Yemisi Abass, who has publicly endorsed him.

Adeola's agenda centers on transforming Ogun State by replicating Lagos' development model, focusing on industrial investment, agriculture, and human capital development. He aims to unify the diverse regions within Ogun West, which includes Egba, Ijebu, and Remo zones, and address historical grievances related to political representation.

Adeola's strategy includes enhancing agricultural productivity and establishing processing plants to create jobs and increase farmers' incomes. Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration has laid the groundwork for industrial parks and energy projects, which Adeola plans to build upon.
