Inter Miami Signs Casemiro on Free Transfer from United

Inter Miami has officially signed Brazilian midfielder Carlos Casimiro on a free transfer following his departure from Manchester United. The Major League Soccer club announced the signing on Wednesday, stating that Casimiro has signed a contract that runs until the end of the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, with an option to extend until June 2029, subject to the receipt of a P-1 visa.

Casimiro expressed that Inter Miami’s ambition was a significant factor in his decision to move to South Florida, emphasizing his desire to win and grow with the club. Inter Miami Managing Owner Jorge Mas described the signing as a reflection of the club's ambition, while co-owner David Beckham welcomed Casimiro, highlighting his impressive career achievements.

The 34-year-old midfielder previously played three seasons at Manchester United, winning the English League Cup and the FA Cup, and had an illustrious eight-year tenure at Real Madrid, winning multiple prestigious titles. Casimiro has also earned 91 caps for Brazil, contributing to their success in international tournaments.
