Manchester United Targets Wilfred Ndidi as Casemiro's Replacement

Manchester United has identified Wilfred Ndidi, the Super Eagles captain, as a potential replacement for Casemiro, who is departing the club. As part of their summer rebuilding efforts, United is exploring options for an experienced defensive midfielder to provide stability and leadership.

Ndidi, who previously played for Leicester City, was initially targeted by United last summer but ended up joining Turkish club Besiktas. He has since made 31 competitive appearances for Besiktas, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Despite his success, uncertainty surrounding Besiktas' managerial situation has raised doubts about his future. The Turkish club has reportedly placed an £8 million valuation on Ndidi, which several European clubs, including Manchester United, find affordable.

Additionally, Hull City and several Saudi Pro League clubs are monitoring Ndidi's situation. If signed, Ndidi would become the second Nigerian player to feature for Manchester United, following Odion Ighalo.
