Nigerian Web Developer Linked to Multi-Million Dollar Scam

David Erubure, a web developer and IT expert residing in an unpainted storey building in Izomo Idum Area of Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, has been linked to a sophisticated multi-million dollar fraudulent scheme. This investigation was conducted by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) in collaboration with PREMIUM TIMES.

Erubure's web hosting services were reportedly used to facilitate numerous fraudulent activities. The investigation revealed that many of the websites he hosted were part of a scam network that misled investors globally.

In Norway, influencer Mi Le Hagen was impersonated by scammers who copied her TikTok profile to lure her followers into investing in fake cryptocurrency schemes. Victims, including one who lost 23,000 NOK (approximately $2,100 or N3.3 million), were deceived into believing they were earning returns on investments that never existed.

The investigation sheds light on the complexities of this fraud network and the individuals involved.
