IPMAN to Review Petrol Prices Amid New Product Arrivals

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has indicated that filling stations in the Federal Capital Territory will begin reviewing petrol pump prices in the coming days. Chinedu Ukadike, the National Publicity Secretary of IPMAN, stated in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Abuja that marketers are preparing to adjust their prices and sales strategies as new petrol products are anticipated to arrive.

While the exact timing for these adjustments remains uncertain, Ukadike mentioned that marketers would respond quickly to the arrival of new products. He noted that purchases could commence in a few days, depending on when the process officially starts.

The adjustments will comply with existing rules and regulations. This announcement follows a recent increase in the gantry price by Dangote Refinery, which rose from N1,165 per litre to N1,185, N1,200, and N1,265 within the last week, leading to rising petrol pump prices that have concerned many motorists.
