IPOB Declares Only Nnamdi Kanu Can Appoint Leaders

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) issued a statement asserting that only their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has the authority to appoint or remove principal officers within the organization. The statement, released by IPOB's media secretary Emma Powerful on Friday, declared the dissolution of the third administration led by Chika Edoziem as null and void.

IPOB emphasized that Kanu retains the power to appoint and dismiss officers as per the organization's code of conduct. The group condemned Edoziem's actions, labeling them as illegal and unconstitutional, and warned members against recognizing any directives from the dissolved leadership.

IPOB stated that the third administration no longer exists and that any purported actions taken by Edoziem and his members lack legal standing. The organization urged its members worldwide to disregard communications from the dissolved administration and to recognize only statements issued through official channels.
