IPOB Declares Nnamdi Kanu's Authority Over DOS

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has issued a code of conduct emphasizing that Nnamdi Kanu possesses exclusive authority to appoint or dissolve the Directorate of State (DOS). This announcement comes amid ongoing crises within the group, particularly following the dissolution of the third administration led by Chika Edoziem.

Kanu, currently serving a life sentence in Sokoto prison for terrorism charges, had appointed the fourth administration led by Chris Nwaogu after Edoziem's administration was dissolved. IPOB spokesman Emma Power dismissed Edoziem's actions as illegal and null, arguing that no individual has the authority to dissolve the DOS without Kanu's express delegation of power.

The code of conduct, released on Saturday, clarifies that Kanu's leadership is supreme and that any decisions made outside his authority are invalid. The statement also notes that any temporary appointments made under the code are subject to review and must adhere to the established hierarchy within IPOB.
