Majority of Americans Disapprove Military Action Against Iran

According to a CNN poll, 59% of Americans disapprove of the U.S. decision to take military action against Iran, expressing concerns about a potential long-term military conflict between the two nations. The poll highlights a significant lack of trust in President Donald Trump's management of the situation, with 60% of respondents believing there is no clear plan to handle the crisis.

Additionally, 62% of Americans disapprove of Congress approving further military action. Only 27% feel the U.S. has made sufficient diplomatic efforts towards Iran, while 39% believe the U.S. has not tried hard enough diplomatically.

The poll also indicates that 56% of Americans foresee a long-term military conflict with Iran, with 24% expecting a prolonged war. The survey reflects a broader sentiment, with 89% of Americans viewing Iran as an unfriendly enemy of the U.S.
