Isi-Uzo Chairman Applauds Governor Mbah's Security Efforts

Hon. Obiora Obeagu, the Chairman of Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, commended Governor Peter Mbah for his unprecedented achievements in the security sector during an event on Wednesday. Obeagu highlighted the governor's substantial investments, which include the establishment of a command control center and a distress response squad, as well as the construction of a 21.7-kilometer road and the procurement of security patrol vehicles and digital surveillance systems.

He noted that these initiatives are part of a strategic overhaul of Enugu State's security architecture, particularly through the appointment of Dr. Akinbayo O. Olasoji as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Enugu State Forest Guard.

Obeagu urged the forest guard personnel to remain committed to their duties, emphasizing the importance of their role in ensuring the safety and welfare of the people. He promised continued collaboration with Governor Mbah to enhance security in the state.
