ISWAP Executes Nigerian Army Spies, Raids Police Houses in Yobe and Borno

The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) reportedly executed two individuals accused of spying for the Nigerian Army in Dekwa, Yobe State. This action is seen as a preemptive measure to eliminate potential moles ahead of an anticipated joint offensive by the US and Nigeria against the terror group.

Additionally, ISWAP militants raided three houses belonging to a Nigerian police officer named Moham Modu Tetiba, setting them ablaze and stealing vehicles and motorcycles. Security expert Brant Philip disclosed these separate operations, highlighting the ongoing security challenges in the region.
