Achraf Hakimi Explains Mother's Role in Managing Wealth

Achraf Hakimi, a Moroccan international footballer currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain, has clarified why his mother, Saida Mouh, manages his wealth. In a recent interview, he stated that this arrangement began in his teenage years when he earned significant money from football but was unable to manage it.

Hakimi emphasized that he continues to rely on his mother's judgment for major financial decisions, noting that the family agreed she would stop working to focus on managing his finances. When asked if this arrangement was related to protecting his wealth during his marriage, he firmly denied any such connection.

He explained that at 18, he could not open a bank account, which led to his mother controlling his finances. This clarification comes in the wake of his highly publicized divorce from Spanish-Tunisian actress Hiba Abouk, whom he married in February 2020.

The divorce gained attention after Abouk sought half of Hakimi's fortune, only to find that his assets were registered under his mother's name.
