Lukman Defends Atiku Against Kwankwaso's Bribery Claims

Salihu Lukman, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly criticized former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for his comments regarding Atiku Abubakar's potential conduct in the upcoming party primary elections. Lukman stated that it is quite unfair to assume that Abubakar would resort to bribery to secure victory.

His remarks came in response to Kwankwaso's exit from the ADC, which he made alongside Peter Obi. Lukman questioned Kwankwaso's commitment to the ADC, noting that he had joined the party less than six weeks prior to his departure.

He expressed concern that Kwankwaso's actions reflect a self-serving ambition rather than a genuine desire to provide selfless service to Nigerians. Lukman highlighted the importance of focusing on building a lasting political legacy instead of pursuing personal ambitions.
