Gov Eno Reveals Seven-Month Effort Before Joining APC from PDP

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State revealed that it took him seven months to convince the people of his state to switch from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Governor Eno disclosed that he was persuaded by President Bola Tinubu before joining the APC in June 2025.

He cited personal conviction and the dynamic nature of politics as reasons for his defection. Eno emphasized the need for movement and support for the president's initiatives.
