Iyabo Obasanjo Supports Tinubu's Reforms and Highway Project

Iyabo Obasanjo has expressed her support for President Bola Tinubu's economic reforms and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, highlighting their potential to stabilize the economy and strengthen purchasing power for Nigerians. Speaking during a media briefing at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, she defended the proposed highway as a strategic investment that could unlock growth along the corridor and alleviate traffic pressures on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Furthermore, Iyabo Obasanjo, a former senator representing Ogun Central, made it clear that she intends to contest for the Ogun governorship in the 2027 elections, asserting that she is neither a symbol nor a placeholder for any aspirant. She pledged to deepen industrialization in Ogun State, citing the growing number of factories and prioritizing agriculture, given Ogun's proximity to the Lagos port.

Additionally, she noted the significant attention given to ICT and tech education by the current administration, which aims to drive innovation and job creation.
