Jack Grealish Fined £1,044 for Running Red Light in Liverpool

Jack Grealish, currently on loan at Everton from Manchester City, was fined £1,044 by the Liverpool Magistrates' Court for running a red light in his Lamborghini. The incident took place on the outskirts of Liverpool city center in September last year.

Grealish's distinctive sky blue supercar was caught on camera passing a traffic signal that had turned red 1.4 seconds earlier. He was found guilty of failing to provide information to the police about the driver of the vehicle at the time.

The court records show that Grealish did not enter a plea in the case, which was handled in a closed session. Kevin Scott, the Safer Roads Unit Manager at Merseyside Police, informed the court that a letter was sent to Grealish's Manchester address in September, requesting confirmation of the driver's identity.

Grealish was ultimately convicted for failing to provide information related to the driver's identification as required by law. The court imposed a £660 fine, along with £120 in court costs and a £264 victim surcharge.

The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 pm on September 12, following Grealish's appearance in a goalless Premier League draw for Everton against his former club, Aston Villa.
