Super Eagles to Compete in Unity Cup in London

The Nigeria Super Eagles are set to participate in the upcoming Unity Cup tournament scheduled to take place in London from May 26 to May 30. This mini-competition will see the Super Eagles face off against Jamaica and India.

The tournament is designed to prepare the team for future international challenges, particularly as they aim to defend their title after previously winning against Ghana and Jamaica. The Unity Cup will serve as an important platform for the Super Eagles to fine-tune their squad, improve team cohesion, and boost their FIFA ranking ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Earlier, the Super Eagles played a friendly match against Iran, winning 2-1, and drew with Jordan in an international fixture.
