JAMB Releases Steps to Check and Print Admission Letters

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has provided a step-by-step guide for candidates on how to check and print their admission letters through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). This guidance was shared via the board's official "JAMB Explained" video series.

Candidates must follow six steps: log into their JAMB profile, click on "Check Admission Status," select "Access My CAPS," accept their admission on the portal, and then proceed to print their admission letter. JAMB emphasized that candidates who have not accepted their admission on CAPS may face difficulties in printing their letters, making acceptance a crucial step.

The admission letter is vital for candidates transitioning from the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) process into tertiary institutions, as many require it for registration and matriculation. JAMB has advised candidates to retain printed copies of all official documents, including the original result slip and admission letter, throughout the admissions process.
