JAMB Releases 2026 Mock UTME Results; Main Exam April 16

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of results for the 2026 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which was conducted on March 28, 2026. According to JAMB spokesperson Dr. Fabian Benjamin, a total of 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination, with 152,586 successfully participating.

The examination took place across 989 accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers nationwide. JAMB reported that 20 CBT centers experienced technical difficulties during the exercise and were subsequently delisted for not meeting operational standards.

The board cautioned candidates to be wary of fraudsters, particularly on social media platforms like WhatsApp, who claim to manipulate or upgrade examination scores for a fee. Candidates involved in any form of malpractice risk immediate cancellation of their registration and potential withholding or withdrawal of their results.

The main UTME is scheduled to commence on April 16, 2026.
