APC Vice Chairman Warns Joining Party Won't Protect from EFCC, Emphasizes Anti-Corruption Stance

The APC Vice Chairman, Mustapha Salihu, stated that joining the party does not guarantee immunity from EFCC investigations, refuting claims that defecting to APC offers protection from financial crimes. He highlighted the party's firm anti-corruption stance, criticizing attempts to undermine President Bola Tinubu's administration.

Former Secretary to the Government, Babachir Lawal, accused APC of harboring EFCC fugitives, which Salihu denied. The party vows not to shield corrupt members and stresses a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption.

Salihu reflected on APC's formation to remove Goodluck Jonathan from power in 2015.
