Tinubu Cancels Ogun Trip to Visit Jos After Killings

President Bola Tinubu has canceled his planned trip to Iperu, Ogun State, where he was expected to flag off operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport. Instead, he will fly to Jos, Plateau State, to express condolences to the people affected by recent gun attacks that resulted in the loss of innocent lives.

This decision was confirmed in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Strategic Communication, Bayo Onanuga, on Wednesday evening. Following his visit to Jos, President Tinubu will travel to Lagos on Good Friday and return to Abuja.

He is also scheduled to visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission projects completed by Governor Douye Diri.
