Seyi Tinubu Named Christian Youth Peace Ambassador

On September 5, 2026, Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, was conferred the title of Christian Youth Peace Ambassador by the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) in recognition of his contributions to peace, youth development, and national unity. The honor was presented during the National Christian Youth Security Summit and Thanksgiving held in Abuja from September 3 to 5, which gathered Christian youth leaders to discuss security, leadership, and nation-building.

Seyi Tinubu did not attend the ceremony in person; instead, former National Chairman and President of YOWICAN, Belusochukwu Enwere, received the award on his behalf. In a message read at the event, Tinubu emphasized the obligation to empower young Nigerians and promote peaceful coexistence, stating that peace requires justice, compassion, tolerance, and mutual respect.

He urged young Nigerians to view the country's diversity as a strength and pledged support for programs focused on peaceful coexistence across Nigeria.
