Moses Inwang Defends Jude Okoye in P-Square Feud

On September 2, Nollywood director Moses Inwang spoke on The Echoo Room podcast regarding the ongoing feud within the Okoye family, particularly defending Jude Okoye's significant role in the establishment and success of the music group P-Square. Inwang criticized the tendency of Nigerians to overlook the contributions of individuals behind the scenes, citing Banky W's early investment in Wizkid as a parallel.

He asserted, “Jude, one hundred percent founded the group called P-Square,” acknowledging that while Peter and Paul Okoye were already making music, Jude played a crucial role in structuring the group and managing its business affairs. Inwang revealed he had a three-hour meeting with Peter Okoye, during which Peter presented documents that shocked him and suggested Jude could face legal issues.

Despite acknowledging some validity in Peter's claims, Inwang expressed that he believes Jude is “to a large extent innocent” of the accusations made against him.
