Nigerian Judo Stakeholders Support Dr. Musa Oshodi

On August 26, 2026, stakeholders in Nigerian Judo unanimously passed a vote of confidence for Dr. Musa Oshodi, President of the Nigeria Judo Federation (NJF). This endorsement was attributed to his visionary leadership and the significant achievement of winning a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, which ended Nigeria's 24-year medal drought in Judo at the event.

The Nigeria Judo Coaches Association, represented by President Coach Oluwatoyin Emmanuel Ojo, commended the NJF for its growth under Dr. Oshodi's administration and celebrated Miss Enku Ekuta’s bronze medal as evidence of effective governance. The Referees Association, led by Chairman Mr. Godspower Geoffrey, acknowledged the medal's importance and expressed unwavering support for Dr. Oshodi's strategic reforms.

Athletes' Representative Franca Audu also pledged the athletes' loyalty, emphasizing a collective commitment to advancing Judo in Nigeria. Stakeholders expressed their dedication to collaborating with the NJF board to enhance the sport's prominence and called for continued investment in development programs.
