Juma Jux Denies Paternity Claims Amid Minister's Involvement

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux is embroiled in a paternity dispute after a woman alleging to be his child's mother approached Dr. Dorothy Onesphoro Gwajima, Tanzania's Minister of Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups, demanding a DNA test. In a public post, she expressed her grievances and addressed the minister as "my mother," emphasizing that no woman chooses to be a single mother.

Jux, who is married to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, publicly denied the allegations on Friday, 28 August 2026, describing them as completely false and damaging to his reputation. He stated that he initially chose silence, believing the rumors would fade, but upon their escalation, he decided to respond.

Jux claimed he had contacted the woman, who confirmed they had never been in a romantic relationship and advised him to ignore the matter. He has since referred the issue to legal authorities and urged the public to verify facts before spreading unverified claims.
