Labour Party Names Princ Kennedi Ahanotu for 2027 Elections

The Labour Party, under the leadership of Julius Abure, has officially announced Princ Kennedi Ahanotu as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections. The announcement took place during a primary event held in Abuja on a Saturday.

Ahanotu, who is also the party's national youth leader, expressed gratitude for the nomination and pledged to strengthen the party while advancing Nigeria's development. Ahanotu also extended an olive branch to Abia State Governor Alex Otti, expressing a desire to reconcile divisions within the party. Otti's support is seen as crucial for the party's success, as he believes in the potential for unity to enhance the party's platform across the country.
