APC Forms Sub-Committees for 2026 National Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the formation of sub-committees for its upcoming 2026 national convention, as detailed in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja. The party has mandated these committees to coordinate operations, administration, electoral logistics, security, and program activities for the convention.

Governor Ekiti will chair the aspirant screening committee, with the Governor of Kogi serving as co-chairman. The Ex-Senate President will lead the screening appeal committee alongside the Governor of Ebonyi, while the Ex-National Chairman will head the electoral committee.

The Governor of Rivers and the Governor of Kano will serve as co-chairmen for the appeal committee. Additionally, the Governor of Akwa Ibom and the Deputy Senate President will oversee the media and public committee.

The APC has urged all committee members to diligently fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with the approved guidelines to ensure a credible and transparent national convention, thereby strengthening internal democracy and consolidating the party's ideals.
