Atiku, Amaechi Lead ADC Protest in Abuja Against Partisanship

On Wednesday, Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, and Rotimi Amaechi, the former Governor of Rivers State, joined other leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in a peaceful protest in Abuja. The protest was organized to address concerns regarding partisanship within Nigeria's electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Atiku emphasized that the protest aimed to safeguard democracy and prevent the rise of dictatorship in the country. The ADC leaders described the demonstration as a civic duty, insisting on a non-violent approach to send a strong message to the authorities about the importance of impartiality in the electoral process.

The protest garnered support from various parts of the country and is part of a series of actions by the ADC to highlight perceived irregularities in the conduct of the INEC.
