Nnamdi Kanu's Trial Adjourned Again as He Fails to Open Defense

The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was adjourned in a Federal High Court in Abuja as he failed to open his defense for the second time. Kanu chose to represent himself after his former lawyer had not yet transferred the case file.

The court granted an adjournment to allow Kanu to prepare his defense properly. The Federal Government's counsel did not oppose the request for an adjournment.

The case was rescheduled for Monday for Kanu to open his defense as per the court's order.
