Nnamdi Kanu Begins Defense in Terrorism Trial After Court Order

Nnamdi Kanu, a Biafra agitator, has commenced his defense in a terrorism case at the Federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria. The trial began after the court ordered Kanu to file his defense documents.

Justice James Omotosho directed the court's registry to temporarily move to the courtroom to enable Kanu to file his documents seamlessly. Kanu's legal team submitted the defense documents, leading to a one-hour adjournment for the process to conclude.

Adegboyega Awomolo, representing the federal government, informed the court of receiving Kanu's filed documents directly in the courtroom.
