Court Halts UNILAG, OAU Admissions for 2025/2026

A Federal High Court in Enugu has halted the 2025/2026 admissions at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU). The court order, issued by Justice on Tuesday, suspends the admission process and restrains JAMB from releasing or approving admission lists for the new academic session.

The order follows a suit filed by a group of aggrieved candidates seeking to address alleged irregularities in the admission process. The court directed all parties to maintain the status quo until the substantive hearing scheduled for October 28, 2025.
