Court Allows Ngige to Keep EFCC Bail, Demands Federal Director as Surety

The Federal Capital Territory High Court in Gwarinpa, Abuja, has granted former Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, permission to retain his EFCC bail. However, the court demands a federal director as a surety and the deposit of property title documents.

Ngige's lead counsel, Patrick Ikwueto, represented him in court. Ngige is required to surrender his travel documents until his international passport is retrieved.

The EFCC had earlier granted Ngige bail on self-recognition but now requires additional surety details.
