Amaechi Visits Atiku in Abuja Ahead of ADC Primaries

On Monday, Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport and Governor of Rivers State, visited Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), at his residence in Abuja. This visit is significant as Amaechi is gearing up to contest in the ADC presidential primaries.

During the visit, he was accompanied by Kenneth Okonkwo, a veteran Nollywood actor and a chieftain of the ADC. The details of the visit have not been made public yet.

In the previous elections, Atiku Abubakar and Moham Hayatu Deen, who emerged victorious and finished third respectively, had expressed concerns regarding the conduct of the elections, stating they were not free and fair. Following the visit, both Amaechi and Hayatu Deen urged the need to join forces to rescue Nigeria.
