JUST IN: Edo State PDP Pioneer Chairman Dies

Chief Solomon Aguele, the pioneer chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, has passed away. He led the party in the state from 1999 to 2007 and was described as a dedicated leader whose contributions shaped the early years of the PDP in Edo.

In a statement signed by the state caretaker chairman Anthony Aziegbemi, the PDP praised Aguele for his steadfast service and commitment to democratic ideals. The party acknowledged his wisdom and devotion, which laid a strong foundation for the party's continued presence in the state.

The PDP extended condolences to Aguele's family, friends, political associates, and supporters, noting that he would be remembered for his humility, loyalty, and enduring contributions to the development of the PDP in Edo State.
