Ex-Super Eagles Striker Michael Eneramo Dies at 40

Michael Eneramo, a former striker for the Super Eagles, has passed away at the age of 40 after collapsing during a football match in Kaduna State. The incident occurred on the Angwan Yelwa pitch, where Eneramo was playing when he suddenly slumped in the second half without any contact.

Sources reported that efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Eneramo had a notable career, having played for several clubs including Beşiktaş in Turkey, a Tunisian side, and the Nigerian club Lobi Stars.

Following his retirement from professional football, he ran a football academy. The Super Eagles organization has expressed their condolences and shared a tribute post in memory of the former striker.
