Super Eagles Mourn Death of Former Striker Michael Eneramo

Michael Eneramo, a former striker for Nigeria's national football team, the Super Eagles, has passed away at the age of 40. He reportedly collapsed on a train in Kaduna on Friday morning, and efforts to revive him ultimately proved abortive.

Eneramo had a distinguished career, having played 10 times for the Super Eagles and scoring three goals. His professional journey began with the Tunisian club Espérance Sportive de Tunis before he moved to Turkey, where he played for several clubs including Sivasspor, İktisadi Karabükspor, İstanbul Başakşehir, and Manisaspor.

The Super Eagles confirmed his death via their official X page, expressing condolences with the message, "Rest in peace, Michael Eneramo." His contributions to Nigerian football, particularly in the Nigeria Premier Football League with Lobi Stars, will be remembered.
