Ovie Omo-Agege Resigns from APC, Seeks New Path

Ovie Omo-Agege, who served as the Deputy Senate President in the 9th Senate, has officially resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC). His resignation takes immediate effect, as stated in a message shared on social media by his media aide.

Omo-Agege's decision follows consultations with his political associates and is driven by his desire to support development initiatives within Delta State. He expressed that he cannot remain a "sit duck" in a party that does not advance the interests of Delta Central.

Omo-Agege thanked the APC for the opportunity to serve as Deputy Senate President and requested the removal of his name from the party's membership record. He emphasized his commitment to continue delivering effective representation and pursuing developmental goals for Delta Central outside of the APC.
