JUST IN: Former Ogun Governor Gbenga Daniel Breaks Silence on APC Suspension

Former Ogun State Governor Senator Gbenga Daniel has broken his silence on his suspension from the Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Daniel's aide, Steve Oliyide, confirmed that the senator received a letter regarding allegations of misconduct leading to his suspension.

This announcement came shortly after Daniel and another party member, Kunle Folarin, were suspended indefinitely by the party's disciplinary committee in Sagamu Local Government Area. The committee accused Daniel and Folarin of misconduct and attempting to intimidate party members.

Ogun APC Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, stated that the suspension was necessary to protect the integrity of the disciplinary process and ensure a thorough investigation. Daniel and Folarin have been suspended pending the outcome of the inquiry.
