Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Price to N699/Litre in Nigeria

Dangote Refinery has reduced the ex-depot price of petrol from N828 to N699 per liter, representing a 15.58% drop. This move is part of the refinery's strategy to stabilize domestic fuel supply, discourage fuel diversions, and boost confidence in local refined products.

Aliko Dangote, the chairman of the refinery, reiterated the commitment to maintaining competitive fuel prices despite global market volatility and smuggling challenges. The price reduction follows a meeting with President Bola Tinubu and aims to enhance the refinery's product capacity and competitiveness against imported fuel.
